According to ICC, tickets for the final won’t be available for purchase until the first semi-final, which is set for March 4, is over.

Only four days before the game, on March 9, tickets will go on sale for the 2025 Champions Trophy final. On Monday, the ICC announced that tickets for the final of the eight-team event, which starts on February 19, will go on sale following the first semi-final on March 4.

Due to India’s reluctance to go to Pakistan for the event, the hybrid format used for the tournament has forced such a late distribution of tickets for the final. Consequently, it was agreed that India would play all of their games—including, if they advanced to the knockout stages, in Dubai. Regardless of whether India makes it to the final four or not, Dubai will host the first semifinal. If India advances to the final, the match will also take place in Dubai. In the event that India does not advance to the final, the second semi-final will also take place in Lahore.

Tickets for the 10 matches and the Lahore semi-final of the Champions Trophy’s Pakistan leg will go on sale starting Tuesday at 2:30 PM IST/2:00 PM Pakistan time, the ICC said on Monday. The ICC stated that “information would be made available in the coming days” without providing a specific date, therefore tickets for the Dubai leg are not yet on sale.

Match tickets in Pakistan start at about 1000 Pakistani rupees. 3.59 USD] for the general category and 1500 rupees [approx] for the premium category. $5.38 USD]. PCB COO and tournament director Sumair Ahmad Syed stated that the tickets are “affordable” in order to guarantee that “fans from all walks of life can be part of this historic spectacle, making it a celebration for all generations of cricket lovers.”

Bangladesh, New Zealand, India, and Pakistan are all in Group A. On February 23, the much awaited India-Pakistan group match is set to take place in Dubai.

Right now, the PCB is rushing to get its venues prepared for the occasion. Although the three locations in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi have been undergoing various renovations, the Pakistan board is still optimistic that they will be prepared in advance. Before the Champions Trophy, a brief triangular ODI series against South Africa and New Zealand is scheduled to take place in Karachi’s National Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

A delayed ticket release, with the first batch going on sale 41 days before to the opening match, further hindered the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.
